Major Adjustment to 3-Plate Armor Vests and Backpacks Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone 2

Call of Duty Warzone 2

The recent blog post of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 brings about some substantial revisions to the battle royale looting system, such as the standardization of the backpack and armor plate system. When it was initially released last year, Warzone 2 featured several changes to stand out from its predecessor. One of the more popular and acclaimed features of Warzone 2 was proximity chat, which allows gamers to hear those in their near vicinity. Players such as Dr Disrespect have found a way to employ this capability to surprise their adversaries and create amusing matches.

The community has not been in agreement with all the adjustments to Warzone 2, such as the replacement of familiar Call of Duty tactics like slide canceling with a fresh movement system. Infinity Ward has been actively listening to the players, making changes on a regular basis to tackle bugs, introduce new components, and refine existing ones. The most recent update to Warzone 2 has been one of its biggest changes to the essential mechanisms of the game.

Infinity Ward recently released a statement previewing the modifications to be made in the second season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2. The post covered multiple aspects of the game, from user interface and audio to the Gulag and other gameplay elements. The company also revealed that it is unifying the 3-plate vest system. This means that the various vest sizes that were previously available in Battle Royale loot no longer exist and all players will begin with the 3-plate vest. The developer is looking forward to providing a more consistent experience to all players right at the start of a match with this alteration.

Infinity Ward is introducing a revamp to the Warzone 2 backpack and looting system with Season 2. All loot will now be dropped directly from containers, as opposed to the menu/window system used before. Medium/Large backpacks have been eliminated, and when players are eliminated, their loot will be dropped onto the ground. The aim of this change is to improve the speed of gameplay, reduce the amount of time spent in menus, and get players back in the action quickly.

After the delay of Warzone 2 Season 2, numerous gamers have been questioning the other main alterations planned for the well-known title. In addition, it was revealed earlier in the week that Infinity Ward is making an economic change with the prices at buy stations being reduced and more money being added to the areas around the map which can be looted.

Players can now play Call of Duty: Warzone 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
