Dead by Daylight to Feature Resident Evil-Themed Skins

Dead by Daylight Adds New Skins

To celebrate Lunar New Year, Dead by Daylight has released three new cosmetics based on Resident Evil. These two skins for survivors and one for killer are some of the most intricate ever seen in the game. Fans of Dead by Daylight will not want to miss out on this unique collaboration.

Dead by Daylight and Resident Evil share a long history of collaboration, the most recent of which introduced Wesker to the former. Cosmetics are also part of this, with Legendary tier skins added from the Resident Evil series, allowing players to take on the look of Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers. In addition, cosmetic sets can be used to play as characters such as Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil 5.

The Dead by Daylight store will be receiving three new cosmetics as part of the Resident Evil x LNY Collection. Starting with a legendary cosmetic set for the Blight, one of the most powerful killers in the game, the skin will completely transform his look into that of the mutated William Birkin from Resident Evil 2. It will be extremely intricate, with an emphasis on Birkin’s right shoulder, where a bulging eye is seen to be erupting. Additionally, a set of bespoke sounds have been created for this skin.

The costumes for two iconic Resident Evil characters, Ada Wong and Jill Valentine, are among the top cosmetics in Dead by Daylight. Ada’s “Lunar Qipao” and Jill’s “Revelations Gear” are available in the game’s store, and they do not have a time limit as part of the Lunar New Year event. These costumes must be worn as a complete set, rather than individual pieces being allowed to be selected.

The Lunar New Year is almost here and Dead by Daylight ‘s Bone Chill event has just ended, so players have a lot to look forward to over the coming weeks. Even if they don’t buy the Resident Evil x LNY collection, the mid-chapter patch changes will add another level of appeal and spice up the game.

Dead by Daylight is accessible right now on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series X/S, as well as on mobile devices.
