As a result, Call of Duty enthusiasts are desiring for the Infected mode to return to Modern Warfare 2.
Accb1332, a Reddit user, posted about wanting to experience the Infected game mode in Modern Warfare 2. Previously, this mode had been featured in some of the earlier Call of Duty games, especially in the 2019 Modern Warfare title created by Infinity Ward. The objective of the mode is for one team to try to infect the other players in the lobby while the other team fights to stay alive. Asking other Reddit users for their thoughts on the Infected mode, accb1332 found that a lot of Modern Warfare 2 fans would also like to see it return.
Fans of Call of Duty multiplayer have mixed opinions about the Infected game mode, with some loving it and others enjoying it as a fun party mode.
