New Visuals and Video for the Game Lords Of The Fallen Released

The Lords of the Fallen Receives New Screenshots

CI Games recently revealed a fresh set of screenshots from the reboot of The Lords of the Fallen through its official Twitter account, giving a glimpse of the new environment and introducing a giant boss that players will have to battle.

At Gamescom 2022’s opening ceremony, a complete overhaul of The Lords of the Fallen was announced. It promises a Souls-like experience across a realm five times larger than its predecessor. Examining the newly released screenshots, one can identify a few of the bosses that must be conquered in the merciless environment. One of the pictures discloses a three-headed dragon, seemingly based on Greek mythology’s Cerberus. The second screenshot’s boss had already been presented in the gameplay trailer.

The protagonist can be seen in the third screenshot standing atop a hill, with a ruined building in the backdrop. In the game’s universe, there is a division between two worlds; one of the living and the other of the dead.

The Lords of the Fallen, akin to Elden Ring, provides a combination of single-player and multiplayer gaming experiences, such as cooperative and player versus player gameplay. There are nine possible character classes in total, affording gamers the opportunity to modify their characters as they progress and acquire new equipment.

In December 2022, a gameplay trailer was released, allowing us to get a peek of the dark atmosphere and combat system of the game. The reboot is developed by Hexworks, an internal studio created by CI Games in 2020. This game will be the first one of Hexworks and will be available nine years after the original game, which was created by Deck 13 and CI Games.

The Lords of the Fallen is aiming for a release sometime in 2023, but no exact date has been announced yet. This title is going to be powered by Unreal Engine 5 and will be accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
