Although the basis of Call of Duty multiplayer stayed the same, with gamers able to hold a primary and a secondary weapon as was the case in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it was impossible to have more than two weapons at once. However, one user surprisingly managed to possess three guns instead of the standard two.

CaptainPRlCE, a Reddit user, recently shared a clip from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which showcased them spawning with a total of three guns during a multiplayer match. The video starts with them carrying a TAQ-M marksmen rifle in Modern Warfare 2, then transitioning to dual pistols. Subsequently, the player is allowed to switch to the JOKR launcher. Afterward, the video showcases CaptainPRlCE continuously cycling through the three weapons.
The fact that the player spawned with three weapons is rather unexpected, however, it appears that the JOKR had no ammunition, so it would not have been of any use to them to gain an edge over the other players in the lobby. This would mean that CaptainPRlCE could not switch between their primary and secondary weapons quickly, which could affect their combat performance when playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
A few Call of Duty players have noticed that they have spawned without their main weapons.
