To address these issues, the developers have already announced a patch that is coming soon.
Recently, Chandler Wood, Avalanche Community Manager, announced an update on Twitter about the performance of Hogwarts Legacy on PC and Xbox. He indicated that there would be an update released today that would not only increase performance, but also address a number of bugs, likely requiring a few minutes to download. Wood verified that the patch was coming today for PC and Xbox Series X, however, those with PS5 must wait a bit longer, with the fixes anticipated within the coming week.
Wood declared that the performance enhancements for Hogwarts Legacy on PS5 will be available within a few days, however, he did not offer any details on what is included in the patch for PC or Xbox Series X. He also mentioned that the problem concerning the Hogwarts Legacy collectors edition trophy will be fixed with this week’s update. Despite the fact that Wood confirmed that Avalanche Software is hoping to publish the Hogwarts Legacy PS5 patch by the end of the week, the uncertain timeline might mean that the process could take longer.
The much-anticipated game Hogwarts Legacy was finally released on February 10th and the response from fans has been tremendous, prompting Avalanche Software to consider their suggestions for future updates.
